Eftychia Stamkou is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests lie in the realms of art, culture, and social power. Eftychia currently studies how people respond to art that violates or challenges widely shared norms and how socio-cultural factors may account for the suppression of deviant artistic content.
