Nanne van Noord is Assistant Professor at the Multimedia Analytics lab of the University of Amsterdam and co-director of the Amsterdam Cultural Analytics (CANAL) lab. His research aims to integrate visual cultural understanding into AI models to bridge the gap between humanistic and algorithmic inquiry.
